Professional Experience
Mr. Bruno Campea, Chief Traffic Engineer with Bayside, has over 30 years of solid hands-on experience in traffic engineering and planning serving public and private sector clients throughout New England. He has successfully completed countless traffic and safety improvement projects and the preparation of numerous traffic impact studies throughout the metropolitan Boston area, including the citywide comprehensive truck traffic study for the City of Somerville and the Transportation Master Plan for Watertown Square. Mr. Campea has extensive experience in the areas of traffic control, geometrics and signing. Mr. Campea was the Chief Traffic Engineer for North Washington Street over the Charles River, Boston, MA; and Summer Street over the Reserved Channel, Boston, MA. Mr. Campea is currently Project Manager for two major urban roadway reconstruction upgrade designs for the City of Boston. These two projects are the reconstruction of Boylston Street and the reconstruction of Dartmouth Street in historic downtown Boston. In addition, Mr. Campea has been the Project Manager for several open-end traffic engineering contracts with MassDOT. He is especially knowledgeable with the City of Boston and MassDOT design standards having worked with the City of Boston and MassDOT since 1972.
