Bayside Engineering, Inc. has maintained and open-end traffic engineering design contract with the Massachusetts Highway Department with services including analysis and design improvements to over 30 High Hazard Intersections throughout the numbered State Highway System.  This location, Route 20 at Route 56 was designated as one of these locations. Bayside re-designed this intersection to include new turning lanes, improved geometric layout and updating of the traffic signals.
