PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Bayside Engineering collaborated with RDK Engineers on a major renovation of the USPS District of Maine Administrative Headquarters building in Portland, ME, providing design and construction administration services. The improvements included renovations and use conversions, including over 9,000-square-feet of new administrative offices, approximately 12,000-square-feet of workroom renovation, bathroom renovations, conference rooms, new doors, windows and security. The project also incorporated site parking and handicap accessibility improvements.
Construction administration services included pre-construction overview, construction inspection and review, contractor invoice review, and shop drawing review. Bayside Engineering and the RDK engineering team provided the necessary support to ensure the satisfactory completion of our designs for the client.
