Meet Ken Cram, the Director of Traffic Engineering at Bayside Engineering since 2011. Ken manages the design and analysis of roadways, intersections, and interchange systems, along with the preparation of and review of traffic impact studies, environmental impact reports, site feasibility studies, corridor studies, peer reviews, traffic signal warrant studies and parking studies.
A long-time member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Ken has held the office of Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Massachusetts Chapter over the last two decades. He is currently serving as Secretary of the New England ITE Section, continuing to share his first-hand knowledge with the emerging industry. The New England Section of ITE has over 600 members throughout the six states of New England.
Ken actively participates in industry conferences, chapter meetings and social gatherings for ITE. This May, he will attend the Northeastern District Annual Meeting comprised of transportation professionals and students in New England, New York and New Jersey.
Most recently, Ken was appointed to the Parking Generation Review Panel and assisted with the development of the 5th Edition ITE Parking Generation Manual (PGM). He provided insights in the screening of data submittals and in the analysis of land use data plots and statistics.
Throughout the years, Ken has spent countless hours as a volunteer of ITE in one capacity or another, all in an effort to promote leadership, networking and education of transportation professionals. We’re proud to recognize your efforts!
