  • Intersection Improvements, VFW Highway – Lowell

    The intersection of VFW Highway with Bridge Street and Lakeview Avenue in Lowell was one of the highest crash intersections in Massachusetts according to MassDOT crash data. Bayside Engineering was selected by MassDOT to design safety improvements and enhance efficiency for both pedestrians and the motoring public. The $2.8 million project realigned the intersection to add exclusive turn lanes and bicycle accommodations while reducing pedestrian crossing widths.

  • Reconstruction of Route 66- Huntington & Northampton

    Bayside Engineering's designs for these two (2) separate projects involved the complete reconstruction of 9.1 miles of an existing two-lane roadway through partially rural, partially urban areas of Northampton and Huntington, Massachusetts.

  • Improvements to Dartmouth Street – Boston

    Bayside Engineering was responsible for improvements to Dartmouth Street, which consists of roadway reconstruction design and streetscape, for this historic Back-Bay urban arterial roadway. Bayside has designed Dartmouth Street between Huntington Avenue and Boylston Street, changing it from a two-way roadway to a one way.

  • Reconstruction of Maple Street (Route 31) – Spencer

    Bayside Engineering was retained by the Town of Spencer to secure construction funding through the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and prepare design plans to reconstruct a section of Maple Street (Route 31), which was in very poor condition and in urgent need of repair.

  • Topsfield, Ipswich Road Rehabilitation

    Rehabilitation of Ipswich Road – Topsfield

    The Town of Topsfield retained Bayside Engineering to rehabilitate Ipswich Road beginning at Route 97 and continuing easterly for approximately 4,200 feet (0.8 miles) to Route 1.

  • Reconstruction of Watertown Pleasant Street

    Bayside Engineering, Inc. was retained by the Town of Watertown to secure construction funding through the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and prepare design plans to reconstruct Pleasant Street from the Waltham town line to Main Street at Watertown Square, which was in very poor condition and in urgent need of repair.

  • Reconstruction of Route 119 in Littleton, MA

    Bayside Engineering, Inc. was retained by Littleton Investments, LLC and worked closely with the Town of Littleton to secure construction funding through the MassWorks Grant program to prepare design plans to reconstruct a section of Route 119 in Littleton, MA.
